Euzelian Society

http://www.wfu.edu/Student-organizations/euzelian/

It seems that there is an attitude, prevalent among many on this campus, that our education stops and our social life starts as we file out the classroom doors. Besides the necessary evil of homework, it appears free time is meant for social activities unrelated to school. We, however, are fundamentally opposed to this notion. We believe that a college education should permeate all aspects of our lives; we should be learning, whether or not we are sitting in a 20 x 20 room, listening to a lecture. In an effort to enhance our time here at Wake Forest, we seek to integrate the intellectual and social life on campus, so that we are constantly expanding our minds - and at the same time enjoying our college experience. As our name Euzelian signifies, we are, above all, committed to the zealous pursuit of the good things in life. Whether you find us sitting on a mountaintop reading poetry, or sitting on couches discussing the aesthetics of WWF wrestling, we are striving to make the most out of our college years.
