Campus cable channel 6
WAKE-TV was started in the spring of 1993 by a small group of dedicated students. The pilot show aired Dec. 5, 1994, and regular programming began February 15, 1995. As the station has grown to be a campus institution, our basic mission has remained the same: first, to be a source of campus-related information and entertainment to the Wake Forest University community at large, and second, to be a creative and educational outlet for students. In addition to regular programming, Wake TV provides airtime to a variety of causes including: advertisement for campus organizations, student-produced movies, televising of campus events, and much more.
